FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A local radio station is once again teaming up with St. Jude Children Research Hospital to help fight pediatric cancer.
K105, WQHK-FM, launched the sixth annual St. Jude radiothon.
The radio station is encouraging people to donate $20 or more for St. Jude on Thursday and Friday.
St. Jude operates on the donations from Partners In Hope.
When someone donates, they can talk live to an on-air K105 personality or another staff member.
"It doesn't seem like a hospital," K105 Morning Show co-host Dan Austin says. "The kids that are down there, they know they have something very bad. But they're pretty optimistic that they'll make it through."
To donate, just call 1-800-942-8741, or log on to K105FM.com and follow the prompts.
