FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - It was a bad day at the office for a semi-truck driver who got stuck Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the driver attempted U-turn in front of Pointe Inverness apartments, south of the Hadley & Illinois Roads intersection, according to Kayla Blakeslee at WOWO, 1190AM & 92.3FM. That's when the rig jackknifed.
The northbound lane was completely blocked for more than an hour. Vehicles alternated passing the back end of the semi in the southbound lanes.
A tow truck eventually arrived, and helped the truck out.
