FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a snowmobile accident with injuries involving a 9-year-old boy Saturday approximately 1:55 p.m. in the 13700 block of S. Anthony Blvd.
William Lockwood of Ft. Wayne was operating a Polaris snowmobile in a field behind his residence. Lockwood’s uncle was operating a separate snowmobile nearby. Lockwood failed to make a turn and jumped from the snowmobile prior to it colliding with and lodging under a parked grain truck.
Lockwood was treated on scene by paramedics and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of rib and lung injuries.
