Indianapolis (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Prosecutors are deciding whether to charge a 14-year-old girl as an adult, for allegedly stabbing her 4-year old cousin to death.

The death happened Saturday night, when police found four-year-old Leon Thomas, III in critical condition with multiple stab wounds inside his grandparents' Beechwood Gardens apartment.

He later died at Riley Hospital.

Police tracked down his 14-year-old cousin, covered in blood, walking along the side of the road not far from the scene.

The little boy's 11-year-old sister may have seen the stabbing happen.

Police have no motive for the killing, although some reports say the 14-year-old girl has been arrested before, for fighting.
