Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - In Fort Wayne, the rule was “no fireworks on your property or you'll face misdemeanor charges.” But what really happened?

Starting around 6 p.m. Wednesday night, dispatchers received more than 170 complaints about fireworks.

But enforcing the ban was difficult, since a person can only be charged if an officer sees the person in the act of violating the burn ban.

So far, no one has been arrested and luckily. No firework related fires were reported.
