FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Emergency responders came together for one of the most celebrated Fort Wayne holiday traditions, "The Battle of the Badges."
Our area first responders competed in a good natured competition to encourage people to donate blood during the holidays. Leaders from our are emergency services kicked off the 18th annual blood drive by getting in the donation chair themselves.
The firefighters won the battle but altogether the competition brought in about 750 units of blood.
There will be another blood drive in January.
