INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A judge will hear an appeal to Indiana’s new school voucher program, Thursday.
More than 2,200 students have signed up for vouchers that use state funds to help pay for tuition at private schools under new legislation passed by the General Assembly.
But the state teacher's union says the program violates a state constitutional ban on giving tax money to religious institutions.
