FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) – Fort Wayne Police were called out to an early morning robbery at a Walgreens on the city’s north side.
Shortly after 12:30 AM Tuesday police were dispatched to the Walgreens at the corner of Coldwater Rd. and Dupont Rd. in reference to a robbery.
The male suspect demanded Opana (Prescription Pain Medication) from the pharmacist. The pharmacist reports that the suspect was holding a weapon inside his pocket and threatened to shoot.
The suspect then fled the store on foot.
The male suspect is described as white or possibly Hispanic; last seen wearing jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt, and possibly a surgical mask.
