FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The 24th annual Conference on Youth was held at the Memorial Coliseum Thursday.

It is designed to educate adults who work with kids, on ways they can positively influence their lives.

There were three keynote speakers, six workshops and more than 65 youth-serving agencies on hand with tips and ideas.

“We do training all through the year but this is our main event,” Nancy Springer Event Coordinator said. “And it's our hope to give youth serving professionals some tools to have in their toolkits to use in their work with kids.”

A record-breaking 800 people attended the conference.
