FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The third lawsuit has been filed in the US 30 pileup in January where a semi-driver slammed into a line of vehicles that were starting to go through a light without slowing down.
Mark Dealey, the surviving husband of one of the two women who died in the crash, filed in the U.S. District Court in Fort Wayne against Kutzler Express and the semi-driver, Scott A Saunders, Tuesday.
Sandra Dealey, 43 and Suzanne Stephenson, 65, died of blunt-force trauma in the crash that involved six vehicles. Seven other people were injure in the collision. One of the injured, Marsha Sarrazin, filed a suit last week in Allen Superior Court.
In February, the family of Stephenson sued in federal court.
The Dealey family is seeking funeral expenses, recovery of lost wages and compensation for her husband and six children.
