FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Four area high schools were on alert Tuesday morning as police were responding to a note that was found indicating a bomb would go off at these schools at 7:45 a.m.
Northrop, North Side, South Side and Wayne high schools were mentioned in the note. According to police South Side H.S. was evacuated. The note was found at South Side high school.
All the buildings were searched by resource officers, staff and detectives. Classes resumed normal activity shortly after 8 a.m.

This is following a bomb threat Monday in Bluffton. Two teenage students were arrested later in the day in relation to the threat.
It is 21Alive's policy not to give bomb threats press coverage but because this particular threat involved multiple schools and follows a threat where there were arrests made, we felt we had to inform the public.
