FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - City leaders are trying new avenues to keep more than a thousand jobs from leaving Fort Wayne.
In a news conference late Tuesday afternoon Mayor Tom Henry announced the city will begin working with a nationally-known site selection firm to help convince Navistar officials Fort Wayne is a good place to call home.
Strategic development group, incorporated will assist the Fort Wayne - Allen County Economic Development Alliance through the process as Navistar evaluates multiple sites for a new corporate headquarters.
We first reported almost a month ago Navistar officials have abandoned plans to locate in Lisle, Illinois.
