AAA Releases Holiday Travel Forecast

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Millions of Americans are about to take planes, trains and cars to their destination for Thanksgiving.

AAA says more than 42 million Americans are expected to travel at least 50 miles from home this Thanksgiving.

That's a huge increase from last year, when 37 million people traveled over the five-day period.

Four-percent of travelers will fly, two-percent will travel by train,bus or boat and a whopping 94-percent will drive this year. That's up 12- percent from last year.
