Accused Murderer Charles Lawrence Appears For Status Hearing

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne man appeared in court Wednesday morning for a status hearing about his upcoming murder trial.

35-year-old Charles Lawrence is charged with murder and being a violent felon in possession of a firearm in last April's shooting death of Quinton Lewis.

Lawrence is due to be back in court later this month.

His trial is on track to begin on March first.
