Accused Sex Offender Asks For Public Defender

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- 58 year old Daniel Andress was in court Wednesday and requested a public defender.

Andress is being held on $225,000 bail, charged with 10 counts of child molesting.

Court documents accuse him of molesting a young girl over the past five years.

Andress is expected to be back in court next week for a hearing to set a trial date.
