Alleged Madam In Court Charged With Promoting Prostitution

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne woman charged with running an escort service appeared in court for the first time Wednesday.

42-year-old Kirstin Cook is charged with "promoting prostitution."

An undercover officer says he caught Cook booking an escort for sex acts, using her Canterbury Green Apartment as a base for the operation.

Investigators say Cook gave the officer a "menu" of the type of girls available for "sex acts."
