Allen County Library Collecting Storm Photographs for Archive

Allen County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Allen County Public Library is creating a record of photos from the June 29 storm and the smaller thunderstorms that came later in the next week.

The unusually strong thunderstorm known as a "derecho" moved through much of the Midwest causing tens of thousands of homes and businesses in the Fort Wayne and Allen County area to go without power; leaving some without power for more than one week.

Photos submitted will be shared in a collection in the Allen County Public Library's Community Album.
