Apparent Beating Victim Identified

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Officials say 56-year-old Claude Carter was found by his roommate bleeding with blunt force trauma to the head in his apartment at 2025 Carterton Drive around 2:15 Tuesday morning. He was then quickly rushed to a local hospital.

Investigators don't know yet what the motive for the incident was, and no suspects have been taken into custody.
