UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - The cost of hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year may suprise you.

According to a survey, $246.00 is the average cost to host a Thanksgiving dinner this year. That cost prompted 12% of Americans to pass on hosting dinner in the past. Nearly 15% felt pressured into hosting Thanksgiving dinner because relatives or friends don't want to foot the bill.

Some suggestions on cutting costs: skip name brands and keep decorations simple.
