Cause of Death Released for Body Pulled From Roanoke Pond

ROANOKE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Huntington County Coroner has ruled that a man pulled from a Roanoke pond, accidentally drowned.

The body of 55-year-old Jeffery Stoffel of Huntington was pulled from a pond on County Road-850 north just outside city limits, Tuesday morning.

Conservation officers say Stoffel had been missing since late Sunday night.

The coroner is still waiting for the results of toxicology testing.
