Boyd, Tucker, Burgess, and Sprunger Big Winners for Democrats

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Democratic candidates and supporters filled the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Hall in Fort Wayne Tuesday night, eagerly awaiting the results of the election.

In the end, it was Kevin Boyd who walked away with 48% of the vote in the Third District Congressional Race with a total of 5,981 votes.

In a competitive race for Allen County Council at large, Sharon Tucker, Gina Burgess, and Dennis Sprunger received the three highest number of votes, meaning they'll move on to the general election to compete for three council positions.
