FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Five people who spend their working days helping those in need will soon be joining thousands in the unemployment lines.
Community Action of Northeast Indiana or CANI let five people go recently.
Supervisors met with employees today to explain the criteria for the furlough.
CANI helps those in need of heating and cooling assistance with their monthly gas and electric bills.
