UNDATED (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Can you watch a Will Ferrell movie and eat Chinese takeout with someone who has the power to fire you at work?

According to a recent Bloomberg article a professional HR consultant says not to worry and being friends with the higher-up isn't that big of a deal. Angie Herbers says, “I actually encourage friendships between bosses and their employees. People like to work with people they like, and if you can develop a friendship with your boss, you'll want to be more productive. You'll want to worker harder, and you'll probably want to stay at the company."
