Can You Spare Your Change for the Ronald McDonald House?

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - You can help make a change to believe in with your own spare change.

The Ronald McDonald House at Parkview and McDonald's restaurant are encouraging anyone who visits a local McDonalds to donate their extra change.

The donations are the largest source of on-going financial support for the Ronald McDonald House.

Lisa Pacula with the Ronald McDonald House Charities group says, “The Ronald McDonald house is a home away from home for the parents and children who are hospitalized at Parkview. This is a place where they need to stay while their child is hospitalized. It's a place of comfort and support and just basically is a place to help those parents while their children are in the hospital.”

The Ronald McDonald House helps nearly a thousand families every year.
