City Council Discusses More Union Raises

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- More union raises on the table at tonight's Fort Wayne City Council meeting.

Tonight, city council introduced three union contracts with pay raises for city employees. Discussion for these contracts will be April 5th with a possible vote on April 12th.

Union contracts discussed were for members of the International Machinists and Aerospace workers, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO and the National Conference of Firemen & Oilers AFL-CIO Local No. 7.

Also discussed in the meeting was the approval for 129 Mobile Data Computers and 72 DVD Digitial in Car Video Cameras for the Fort Wayne Police Department.
