(Liesl Marelli)
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Mayor Tom Henry announced on Thursday that the city of Fort Wayne will make grants available to area business owners looking to enhance the appearance of their facility.
Businesses designated in the "economic development target areas" by city council will be eligible for a portion of the grant.
The mayor said businesses such as "George's International Grocery" and the "Mad Anthony Brewery" along the Broadway corridor are prime examples of what the grant can do.
Mayor Henry says, “I made a commitment to small businesses in our community that I would do all I could to help them enhance their businesses. To help them grow their businesses, and I think this is a step in the right direction."
This is the fourth year businesses are able to apply for the facade grant.
