Coats Up In The Polls Over Ellsworth

INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A recent Rasmussen Poll shows Republican Dan Coats still in the lead over his Democratic opponent Brad Ellsworth.

The telephone survey of likely voters in Indiana finds Coats leading Ellsworth 50-percent to 34-percent.

Eight percent of those responding would preferred some other candidate while nine percent are still undecided.

Ellsworth is seeing a slight gain from a poll taken last month, which showed Coats with 50% to Ellsworth's 29-percent.
