ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The property tax cap referendum is getting attention because of the way it appears on the ballot.
If you haven't voted early, you will find two paragraphs surrounding the issue when you're at your precinct next week.
You only need to vote once and it is a simple "yes or no" to cap property taxes on home, businesses, and farms.
Beth Dlug with the Allen County Board of Elections says, “We can't say whether to vote yes or no and we can't explain what the question is really asking. So we hope everyone becomes informed about the question before they come in to vote.”
Early voting this year ends on Monday, November 1st at noon.
If you can't make early voting you can find your precinct information online.
