Contech Castings Lays Off 50-Percent Of Workforce (with Video)

AUBURN, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Contech Castings laid off 50-percent of the Auburn facility workforce Friday without a WARN notice.

130 employees lost their positions with the company Friday due to a contract cancellation with an automotive supplier. Officials told 21Alive that the move had to happen quickly for the sake of the business.

Revstone officials hope to have a new supplier lined up soon to help business.
