Convicted Molestor Sentenced to 20 Years

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne man convicted of sexual abuse was sentenced Monday morning to 20 years in prison.

50-year-old James Muench pleaded guilty to several counts of child molestation.

The victim told investigators Muench started molesting her when she was nine, sometimes paying her various dollar amounts for each act.

Just like the plea agreement outlined, Muench was ordered to serve 12 years of the sentence with 8 years suspended, and then spend 5 years on probation.
