SPACE (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Scientists may have made a major discovery in the search for life outside the solar system.
NASA says they have found a planet similar to earth about 600-light years away.
It's called "Kepler-22B," and is two-times the radius of Earth and about the same distance from its star as we are from the sun.
That means it could be capable of holding liquid water which is necessary for life.
Scientists will now examine whether Kepler-22B is solid like Earth or a gaseous planet.
