Indianapolis, Ind., (Indiana's NewsCenter)-- Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels says Hoosiers shouldn't expect many surprises from the State of the State speech he'll give Tuesday.
Daniels has already outlined much of his agenda for this year's legislative session. He wants a balanced budget that doesn't rely on tax increases, a taxpayer refund in the event the state takes in more money than expected, sweeping education changes, a fair redistricting plan and a balanced unemployment insurance fund.
Daniels says he's already written Tuesday's address and that it will be devoted to the future and "how we can make it better." Daniels says this can be - and should be - an "epic and historic" legislative session.
