Dead For 2 Years: Female Skeletal Remains Found (VIDEO)

BROWN COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Authorities in Brown County, Indiana are trying to identify human remains discovered late last week.

Two mushroom hunters discovered the skeletal remains in at a remote site. Authorities say it is that of a woman, who had been dead for two years or more.

Missing IU student Lauren Spierers' body has never been located.

The coroner is comparing dental records of missing women in the area, with that of the dead woman's teeth.

Positive identification may come next week.
