ORLANDO (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Casey Anthony's Defense Team rested their case Thursday without her taking the stand.

The judge asked Ms. Anthony if she decided on her own not to testify.

The 25-year-old responded..."yes sir".

Earilier in the morning the alleged mistress of Casey’s father testified he told her the little girl's death was an accident.

During Wednesday’s testimony, Casey’s father, George Anthony, said Casey was the last person to see Caylee alive.

Dening claims by the Defense that Caylee accidentally drowned and he helped cover it up, but he did admit he attempted suicide in 2009, weeks after the discovery of Caylee's body.

Prosecutors say Casey Anthony knocked Caylee out with chloroform, and then stored her body in the trunk of her car before leaving the remains in some woods.
