FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- It's Earth Day 2011 and here in Northeast Indiana festivities are in full swing.
The Little River Wetlands project hosted an Earth Day tree planting at Eagle Marsh, the largest habitat restoration project in Allen County.
Volunteers cleared out Asian bush honey suckle, an invasive species, and replaced the bush with 200 trees.
The Little River Wetlands projects encourages everyone to come out for a hike this spring.
