Take Home a Piece of Elmhurst History

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Several thousand items from Elmhurst High School, which has been closed for more than two years, will be auctioned off Saturday.

Many other items up for auction come from other Fort Wayne Community Schools, but are no longer needed by the district.

A preview day will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, the doors to the high school will open at 8:00 a.m. and the auction will begin at 9:00 a.m.

You must register for the event to participate. You can do that on Friday or Saturday at Elmhurst High School.

VISA, Mastercard, personal checks and cash will be accepted. You can also bid online during the auction at bidspotter.com. The money will be put into FWCS's general fund.
