FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne Community Schools is one of six Indiana school districts to be the first to implement the state's teacher/ principal evaluation system.
Administrators will use the criteria outlined in a State Senate bill, which was recently signed into law by the Governor.
The evaluations are meant to provide useful feedback to teachers.
Critics contend the law, which ties a teacher's pay to their performance is unfair.
