ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The driver of the car in a fatal crash that took place Wednesday afternoon just before 4 PM on U.S. 24, has been identified.
The car driven by 66-year-old James Cannaley of Holland, Ohio was headed west on U.S. 24, when Cannaley’s car crossed the center line, and collided head-on with a semi truck that was headed east from New Haven.
Cannaley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi truck driver was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause and manner of Cannaley’s death.
