Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Smith & Indianapolis Roads

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - One man died Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash in the southwest part of town.

Around 7:45 a.m., Allen County police received a call from a passing motorist who saw a motorcyclist down near the intersection of Indianapolis & Smith Roads.

When police arrived, they found the man unresponsive. He was declared dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.

Police say it is unclear when the crash happened, or how long the man had been laying there.

Police say speed could be a factor in the crash.
