Fire Damages Trace Drive Home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Fire heavily damaged a mobile home in the Stonecrest community Saturday afternoon.

Neighbors reported the fire in the 4900 block of Trace Drive just after noon..

Fire department officials say the blaze started in the kitchen, and gutted the front end of the unit.

Neighbors says surrounding homes were evacuated as a precaution.

No one was in the home at the time, and no one was injured.
