Declared Arson: Fire Spreads To 2 Homes On 4th Street (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind.(21Alive) -- A fire ignited early Monday morning in the 500 block of W. 4th Street.

Crews were called to the home around 6 a.m. The blaze spread to a second home.

The FWFD said the fire was in the rear of both homes. The first home is reported to have heavy fire damage and the second home had moderate damage.

Both houses were empty and no one was reported injured.

After an investigation, the FWFD has determined the cause of the fire is arson. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call FWFD's Fire Prevention Bureau at 260-427-1317 or Crime Stoppers at 260-436-7867.
