The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a fire at Mullinix Industries early Sunday evening.
One hundred employees evacuated themselves from the building before fire crew arrived.
The fire was located in high voltage electrical equipment and spread to some stored material nearby. Crews had to wait for AEP to arrive to shut off the power to the building.
Sprinkler systems helped control the blaze and crews had it extinguished within an hour. No injuries were reported.
The building sustained moderate fire and smoke damage, and minor water damage.
