FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Family and friends of Emily Housholder posted flyers in an effort to gather information on her killer.

It’s been nearly a month, and still no answers. So, family and friends of 38-year-old Emily Housholder decided to take matters into their own hands on Sunday by posting flyers asking for information.

Housholder’s body was found in a running, parked car car in the 1800 block of Sinclair St. on May 29. Police say she had a gunshot wound in her head.

The flyers ask, “Do you know who shot her???” and show a picture of Housholder at the top.

Flyers are posted in the vicinity surrounding Sinclair St.— from Spring St. to Sherman Blvd. down to W. Main St. and up Leesburg Rd. Flyers will also be posted in Swinney Park.

Over 60 people arrived at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1636 Saint Mary’s Ave., to assist with posting the 400 flyers. The family members would not speak to Indiana’s NewsCenter on camera, but said they plan to print and post more flyers and will not give up until her killer is found.

Anyone with any information regarding Housholder’s death is urged to call FWPD at (260) 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at (260) 436-STOP, and remain anonymous.
