FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A group of local students were treated to a nice pat on the back, plus an encouragement to keep up the good work.
Former-Pacer player and current director of the team's camps and clinics Darnell Hillman, was at Study Elementary Thursday afternoon, talking to students.
Study has gone from a school that was receiving below acceptable scores on I-STEP tests to recently receiving an exemplary "A" rating this year.
Hillman's message?
“Good work, but more can be done.”
Hillman will also be appearing on Sound Off at 7:30 on 21Alive to talk more about his visit.
