ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A former Allen County sheriff's deputy pleaded guilty to felony theft Wednesday.
58-year-old Louis Lee pleaded guilty to theft, a Class-D felony.
In exchange, he's expected to be sentenced to two-years, but could be on work release or home detention through another county.
In November of 2011, Lee broke into a van at Klopfenstein Furniture in Leo, taking thousands of dollars' worth of tools.
He resigned after an internal affairs investigation that reportedly found surveillance video of him in uniform and in his squad car, taking the tools.
He's scheduled to be sentenced in June.
