Former Teacher Learns Court Date for Sexual Misconduct Trial

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Hoagland woman facing charges of sexual misconduct with a minor learns when she'll stand trial.

28-year-old Kristi Metzger is charged with three felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Police say she had sex with a 15-year-old boy at her home at least five times.

Her trial is expected to last for three days and will begin on November first.

Metzger had been a teacher with East Allen County Schools, but had been let go for an undisclosed reason before these accusations surfaced.
