FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - With nearly 10,000 participants this was the biggest year yet for "Fort-4-Fitness"; now organizers are already starting to assess next year's plans.

The initial feedback from both participants and on Facebook has been extremely positive.

Course changes and new events went over well with participants in the largest field in the events 4-year-history.

Organizers are commonly asked "How big can this event grow"?

Mark Wolf with Fort-4-Fitness says, “A lot of it depends on the participation, if we get word of mouth and it spreads like it did the first three years, then there's going to be more need for us to grow again. We have to evaluate that stuff and we'll do it pretty quick here.”

Each finisher will receive a survey asking for their thoughts on the race and organizers say that's an important step in moving the event forward.
