FORT WAYNE, Ind., (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Borders on Coldwater Road is one of 28 locations nationwide that will close its doors for good in late May leaving more than 20 people locally without jobs.
In February, the nation’s second-largest bookstore chain filed for bankruptcy protection in hopes of turning its operation around.
The Fort Wayne location opened in 1997.
Customers who bought Borders’ $20 one-year membership may still reap discounts at remaining stores and while the Fort Wayne location is open.
