Fort Wayne Solid Waste Dept. Among the Best in the State

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Seven organizations around the state received highest honors for their environmental achievements.

Among those that were honored was the City of Fort Wayne Solid Waste Department for its single stream recycling program.

The governor's awards were handed out Tuesday in Plainfield to honor the extraordinary efforts that protect and benefit Hoosiers and our environment.
