FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne woman was scheduled to be in court Friday morning for a final hearing before her August trial for causing an officer to crash his squad car.

Jennifer Foley is charged with two felonies. One is failure to stop after an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, and the second one is criminal recklessness inflicting serious bodily injury.

The Allen County sheriff deputy was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition last September after crashing his car while answering a call.

He crashed through a fence and into a tree just off Dupont Road, east of Bethel Road. His lights and siren were on.

Investigators said Foley caused the officer to crash. Her trial is set for July.
